Flat River Outreach Ministries is a cooperative ministry of the churches of the greater Lowell area, volunteer organized and staffed, committed to providing emergency financial, food, and clothing assistance to people experiencing times of hardship. It was formed in 1999 by members of thirteen local churches, who banded together to address basic living needs of the community. The economic model is simple but effective.
