The website states that its mission is to provide “a broad array of news, original content and services, including show times and ticket sales, to help movie fans make the right choice on movie night”.

The Buzz
The Movies.com buzz section includes news, gossip and updates on movies, Hollywood, and celebrities. This section also includes trivia, “best of” lists, quizzes, and more.
New & Upcoming
This section of Movies.com is focused on providing you up to date information on newly released movies and soon to be released in the theaters. Each movie has a detail page with trailers, clips, showtimes, ticket info, reviews from critics, reviews from viewers, and more.
Reviews
The Movies.com reviews section compiles reviews from critics and viewers, as well as reviews from their staff. The reviews are then converted into ratings, and compiled into neat little tables, allowing you to see at a glance what Movies.com thinks of a film, what viewers think of it, and what reviewers think of it.
On DVD
The counterpart of the New & Upcoming section, the On DVD section contains information on films just released on DVD. Movies are divided into those just released on DVD and those with upcoming releases. Each movie has a details page with in depth details on the film and the DVD release.
