- Brian Seed arrived in Hong Kong in 1968, He had a passion for learning languages he mastered reading and writing Mandarin, was very fluent in spoken Cantonese, and was proficient in several local dialects (Hakka, Hokien and Fukien). Other languages that he could converse in were French and Portuguese (along with several other European languages). Brian Seed always had an admiration for antiques.
