Welcome to Virginia German Shepherd Rescue, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% volunteer organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and re-homing of the German Shepherd Dog. We serve Virginia and the Metropolitan Washington, D.C., area, and provide a valuable service by finding good homes for the German Shepherd Dogs in our care. In the seven plus years that we have been in existence, we have found homes for over 2,400 deserving dogs, 298 in 2008 alone.
