Since the summer of 2000, UJCweb has helped federations throughout North America create and manage slick and savvy Websites, while saving thousands of dollars on site maintenance and technical support. The Associated, Baltimore's Jewish federation, is doing a great job of engaging visitors on their site. At the top of the homepage is a banner link to a Chanukah contest that's fun for the whole family. For the more active members of the community, there is a link to the annual report. And for those new to Baltimore, there's a great welcome message and info on how we can all make a difference. Go Baltimore!
"Since launching ShalomDC.org in May 2003, traffic to our website has grown substantially, and community members have benefited from a wide variety of content and features, including online event registration. ShalomDC.org has also provided a significant boost to our annual campaign efforts - this year, we raised more than $80,000 from 145 online pledges, in addition to more than $155,000 worth of pledges paid online."
