Description
Christmas brought a pleasant surprise for Jim Sabetto over 30 years ago. His wife Cynthia gave him a tampensis orchid, much like the one his mother raised in her kitchen when he was growing up. From that tampensis became a blooming hobby, with several hundred orchids, a green house, and soon the desire to sell orchids as a career.
In 1983, that desire became a reality. Jim and Cynthia bought Muses’ Orchids in Haines City, FL. and continued to grow their business in Haines City for nearly twenty years.
In 2003, the Sabetto’s relocated their business, now named Tropic 1 Orchids, Inc., to state of the art facilities in Kissimmee, Florida. Tropic 1 Orchids has more than 23,000 square feet of green house and thousands of orchids to choose from.
