Description
Since setting up their business in 1988, Tom Ironside and his wife Doreen have established an enviable reputation for the production and restoration of fine furniture and quality wood products including chessboards & backgammon boards.
The couple were both born and brought up in Buchan, a part of Aberdeenshire, Scotland rich in heritage of both agriculture and craftsmanship.
Tom served an apprenticeship with the local joiner in Ellon, and after several years mastering the art of woodworking tools and gaining valuable knowledge of timbers, found himself progressing up the ladder of success to the boardroom of an Aberdeen construction company by his mid-thirties.
