Patrick O'Connor joined The Hill in May 2004 after earning an M.S. In journalism from Columbia University. O'Connor reported on Congressional campaigns through the 2004 election and now covers the House Republicans.
He came to The Hill as an intern in 2003 after working on the staff of ESPN's "Pardon the Interruption." His work has appeared in the Chicago Tribune, the Washington Post Express and Capitol File magazine. He graduated from Northwestern University in 1999.
