- type of contractor coming into our house, my Dad believed that there was nothing we could not build or fix ourselves. He lived in that house for over 30 years! It was no surprise that during my summers in High School, I was the maintenance manager for a 100-acre amusement park built in the early 1900’s along the Brandywine River. After college, I began working on Wall Street and took up woodworking and antique restoration & refinishing as hobbies.
