The Teddy Bears Den ( A home for bearaholics everywhere ) was created by the partners Simon Feay and Hilde Hanko. It all stemmed from Hilde's love of Teddy Bears and the amount of requests she had for Teddy Bear information from her first website which was all about the life and times of Winnie the Pooh.

The Den opened for business in August of 1998 with the initial Den Shop consisting of 3 artists and about 20 items, The Den's Mailing List, our Message Board and our list of Teddy Bear Events around our area. Since then we have 30 Artists selling patterns, kits, bears, books, clothing, accessories and more. We have over 400 different items and have more offerings being updated daily. We have our Artist Den Area listing contact information for Artists from around the world. The Teddy Tutor section for all bear makers to learn new tricks, 3 different mailing lists for tips, updates and teddy gossip and the list goes on and on.

As a site the Den receives over 1000 visitors daily and has blossomed into the largest informational site on the Internet for information on all areas of the Teddy Bear World.
