Description
Australian Sporting Technologies was formed in 1994 with the aim of developing the field of sporting administration through the use of computer technology and innovative product design.
An opportunity existed for a new range of products in the field of competitive swimming timing and administration systems that would compete favourably with its longer established competitors.
The objective was to design and produce a swimming timing and administrative system using innovative design and manufacture. It was believed that a reasonably priced product would deliver systems at a cost structure that opened up and developed a new section of the market where the "Major Players" were unfordable.
