In conjunction with Brighton Auctions, which was started in 1948, Leo Drill purchased the old Burnley Picture Theatre in 1956 and started a retail / wholesale organization.
In the early 60's Swan Street Auctions had progressed so well that they separated Swan Street Auctions from Brighton Auctions as Leo Drill's share of the overall operation.
