Environmental Aspects in Bank Lending Decisions
Description
ADFIAP (The association of Development Financing Institutions in Asia and the Pacific) - in partnership with the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy and the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) of the School of Earth & Environment at the University of Leeds - has received a technical assistance grant from the EU to help promote environment governance standards in the banking and finance sector in the region. A website giving more information about the project will be available soon.
As part of this project the Sustainability Research Institute (SRI) at the School of Earth & Environment of the University of Leeds (UK) researches how environmental aspects are considered in bank lending decisions in European banks today.
