The Wilce family, which created the Empire Lumber Company in 1887 and built a turn-of-the-century estate called Storm Hill, played a significant role in the growth of the Leelanau County village of Empire. The Empire Lumber Company became one of the largest and best equipped hardwood mills in the region, and was responsible for helping create a tradition of quality building that still exists today with Storm Hill homes.
Jim Bagaloff has been involved in real estate development since 1971 and has succeeded because of his commitment to quality, sensitivity to the environment, and years of experience in the building and real estate industries. Jim is a former President of a division of Kemper Financial Services, Inc. Supervision of all Storm Hill projects is conducted by his son Brad and son-in-law Nat Gray. Both Brad and Nat are licensed builders and real estate salespeople. Together, they guide customers through all aspects of the building process, to help ensure complete satisfaction and a new home that provides a quality living experience.
