Description

I'd seen them before at a craft fair in Toronto a few years ago, but the woman who made them only made children's sizes because "adults don't want hats with ears".

Rather than wait around for someone else to make the hat I wanted, I decided to make it myself. I had so much fun making it and wearing it around town that I made a few hats for friends, and it just grew from there!

I originally launched in January 2004 as Absinthe-Fairy Creations, using an old screen-name of mine for the shop name, which went through a very brief stint as Kitty Caps in early 2005, before coming to rest as Spunky Kitty Style. The site has changed a lot since the early days, but the spirit remains the same!
