About Us
On March 1st, 2006 we changed our company's name to Specialty Graphics Supply Inc. The following story tells how our company started back in 1995 as Special Delivery Storks & More.
We started Special Delivery Storks & More in 1995 because my husband, Dave, and I were going to have a baby! We already had two daughters from my previous marriage but this was going to be our first baby together. We were very excited.
I was working as a secretary at the time but it was the desire of my heart to be a stay-at-home mom for our soon-to-be-arriving baby. We had recently purchased a new home and a new car and it seemed that we were living paycheck-to-paycheck on two salaries. Dave was supportive of my desire to stay home so we decided to take a hard look at our finances and family goals. We traded our new Honda Accord for a '88 Plymouth Voyager minivan losing the monthly payment in the process. We discontinued cable TV, the daily newspaper, stopped eating out and we started living on a strict monthly budget. It was really a squeeze on the lifestyle that we were used to.
