The Third Annual Southern Miss Fan Caravan will make its first stop in Jackson, Miss., this Saturday, June 17 from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m., at the Northpark Mall. Come visit with members of the 2006 team, including tight end Shawn Nelson, linebacker Gerald McRath and fullback Bobby Weakley. Seymour, cheerleaders and athletic department staff will also be on hand.

Southern Miss' Daniel Best and Marc Maddox were named as third-team All-Americans by Pro-Line Cap Company and the National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association, as announced by the organization, today.

The Southern Miss - Memphis football game, played at the Liberty Bowl in Memphis, Tenn., has been moved from Saturday, Nov. 4, to Sunday, Nov. 5, and will be aired on ESPN at 7 p.m., CT. This marks the fifth televised game for Southern Miss for the 2006 season.
