- SoundCense is the brainchild of Ivan Orr a multi-instrumentalist, composer and music/social critic. Ivan is one of the co-founders of The Music Resource Center located in Charlottesville, VA and spent numerous years developing a program that is now be replicated in several cities around the country. Over the past decade Ivan has been profiled in numerous local and regional media outlets for his work with the center. Since 2003 Ivan has been on a quest to marry his two passions: Music and History into a body of work that takes the best of the past and the present to create dynamic musical statements that inspire as well as entertain.
