"I began designing jewelry for myself several years ago. It was my interest in the metaphysical properties of gemstones that drew me in, brought out the artist in me, and eventually led me to start my own jewelry business. With no formal training in wire wrapping/sculpture, I've created my own style of sculpting to bring out the inherent beauty of the individual stones. The stones in my pieces run the gamut from raw stone formations to faceted gemstones and everything in between. My goal has always been to offer a large selection of different stone types in different forms, and to make each of my sculpted pieces a one-of-a-kind."
Sculpted wire jewelry has been in existence for at least 5,000 years. Credit for some of the earliest wire sculpted pieces is given to the ancient Phoenicians and Egyptians. Many other cultures later followed with their own twist on this incredible art form.
