Hello, my name is Luke Woodruff. I was born in Juneau where I learned to fish and hunt at an early age. At age seven, a friend demonstrated the concept of wrapping fur and feathers on a hook. What started out as a casual craft night turned into a life-long, fly-fishing obsession. After that, things went down hill (or uphill depending on how you look at it!) I began guiding fly fishermen in 1998 during the spring, summer, and fall months as a way to support my outdoor habits and to provide some income for the long, cold, Juneau winters. In 2004 I received my "6-pack" captain's license from the U.S. Coast Guard and decided to go into business for myself. Fly-fishing is not just a hobby of mine but a life style. Come join me on the water for adventures in search of the salmon, trout, and char that inhabit my home waters!
