Description
Southern California has the largest collection of organized cloggers in the United States. The Southern California Clogging Association serves as "network central" for all the news and events circulating in Southern California. Each year on Labor Day weekend, it sponsors the SCCA Convention, the largest annual clogging event in the state.
SCCA interfaces with other organizations and agencies on behalf of Southern California cloggers and is the natural point of contact for other clog dancers and groups from across the country.
The current SCCA membership is comprised of individuals, families, clubs and exhibition groups as well as The Southern California Clogging Teachers Association, a member group which works closely with SCCA on dozens of projects through the year. Additionally, we have subscribers to the S.C.C.A. Footnote our quarterly newsletter.
