The Camarilla is the official fan club of White Wolf Publishing, Inc., the publishing company which produces the highly-acclaimed World of Darkness series of games. The Camarilla runs a globally-connected chronicle using the Minds' Eye Theatre rules for Live Action Role Play (LARP).
If you've never LARPed before, imagine taking your standard table-top RPG, expanding it to include dozens of players at once (or even hundreds of players at larger regional and national events), and instead of rolling dice, the rules make use of an easy-to-learn system utilizing a small number of playing cards. Rather than sitting around a table, you're up and about, acting as if you were your character just as if you were playing the part in a theatre troupe.
Sangre Del Sol is the "domain" for Camarilla members in the South Florida, United States area consisting of Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami/Dade counties. It was formed in June of 2002 to bring the excitement that is the Camarilla to South Florida, where there was previously no active presence.
