- Our home is our kennel, and we have turned our home into a home for the dogs! We live in Alpine, California (San Diego County), on an acre of fenced land and we have a small pond that the dogs just love! The dogs also have their own plastic pools to keep them cool in the hot summer days. We whelp and raise our puppies inside the house, welcoming them in as new members of the family. This keeps them in a clean environment, out of harms way, and free from disease or other pests. They are kept inside until it is safe for them to be in an outside environment.
