Description
Rosshaven Marine began its operations in 1985, in response to call for tenders from the Townsville Harbour Board (now Townsville Port Authority). Rosshaven Marine has grown to play an integral role as a major marine service facility in North Queensland. The Boatyard carries out repair work on vessels to 68 tonnes on 3 hectares of secure hardstand. The Slipway handles vessels up to 500t. Trades employed by the company are boilermaking, shipwright, fibreglass repair, abrasive blasting and painting. The Chandlery carries a comprehensive range of marine hardware and electronics and supplies both the trade and general public at competitive prices. Rosshaven Propeller Services is a specialist division, utilising the PropScan computerised measurement system. Rosshaven Marine's Quality Management System fully complies to QM Standard ISO 9001:2000 and the company has been Third Party accredited by AJA RegistrarsAustralia Pty Ltd.
