A Boston-based freelance writer, photographer and editor my publishing credits include over 2,000 articles and photographs in major magazines and newspapers. Travel pieces appear regularly in AAA Horizons Magazine of Southern New England, 1.6 million circulation. I also write for The Cape Cod Times, Ottaway Newspapers, The New Hampshire Union Leader Sunday News, New York Outdoors, The Vancouver Western Bulletin and Woodall’s 11 National Publications. For 10 years at the Beverly, Peabody and The Cape Cod Times I worked as a travel and feature writer, editor and photographer.
Travels take me to Mexico, New England, the Caribbean, Nepal, Thailand, and Europe and throughout the United States including Louisiana, Rocky Mountain states, California, New York City and Boston. Favorite topics include cruising, grandparent-grandchildren travel, solo women’s travel, senior travel, adventure, luxury and train travel. An artist and photograph, I provide art for my articles.
A prize-winning member of the New England Women’s Press Association and Travel Media Association, I have taught journalism and writing courses at Endicott College, North Shore and Northern Essex Community Colleges. I hold a B.S.Ed from Temple University and a M.Ed in Art and Communications from Cambridge College and Temple University
