Description
We are a small kennel located in north central Oklahoma. We are located in the middle of six acres, which provides our dogs plenty of room to run. When we go to the lake, the dogs can’t get enough time to swim, but what Golden doesn’t?
A Golden has lived in our household for the past twenty-two years and we have been raising puppies over ten years. We have been lucky enough to have had eleven Goldens in our home and we currently have three. A fourth puppy was added in March 2004. He will be our second male to go along with the two females we already own. Our dogs are working dogs. We hunt with them, participate in AKC Hunt Tests and Obedience Trials. Most of our dogs have titles on them or are currently working on titles.
We have gone through great lengths to find the best breeding stock. There is a known “hunting” stock of Golden, as well as a “show” stock of Golden. Even though they are both Goldens, a few differences are apparent. Some of them being intelligence and retrieving ability. There are a few Goldens that have both traits of the “show” and the “hunting” stocks. Our current dogs come from Virginia and California, while one of them, Lizzie, is from our own breeding.
