It has been our privilege to provide news and event information to parents of children age 12 and under since 1996. Despite our minuscule status in the Internet world, we've managed to persevere even though other parenting and childhood Web ventures with better financial backing have gone by the wayside.
What has sustained us since 1996 has been the support of our readers. The notes we've received about what we are trying to do have been overwhelmingly positive. And whatever criticism we've received has been constructive, an honest effort to suggest ways to make our service even better.
In 2000, we are looking to revamp our service, focusing more on the events and attractions that help provide parents throughout the 50 states with idea on what to do with their youngsters, particularly on weekends and during school vacations. We hope to offer more specialized listings, more details about the events and attractions listed, and more comment from our readers. We hope to complete this revamping by Memorial Day, when the summer travel season arrives in earnest.
