How It Started. I was born on June 18th 1984 in Ohio to Ellen and Dave. They were both28 years old, and had been married for 3 years. Before I was even a year oldI had my first and only surgery. I had a sist above my left eye which had to be removed. I still have a scar from it, though its less noticable since my eyebrow covers it. When I was around 2 years old my family moved from Ohio to a small town in Pennsylvania. We rented a house that was located on a farm.I used to love petting the barn cats and watching the cows that were practically in our back yard. When I was almost 3, my brother Michael was born. Shortly after, we moved to another house in central Pennsylvania. A couple years later we made one final move to the house I live in now. When I was in first grade I started taking dance classes. When I was in 2nd grade I started to play the flute and piccolo. These are hobbies that I continued through grade school, middleschool, high school and beyond.
Information Technology and my minor is Criminal Justice and I have an IT emphasis in web media. Once I graduate I hope to obtain a position in the Federal or State Government in a position where I am able to use technology to protect the US. I’ve toyed with the idea of eventually going back to graduate school after working for a few years and obtaining a PhD so that I can teach at a small college or university. During the summer and winter breaks I work as an Instructional Design Assistant at a distant learning institution. I help the Instructional Designers at with formatting the course webpages and such. It’s great to get to use my web design knowledge and make money! When I’m at school I work at the Alumni Office and for the Marketing department at my school. At the Alumni Office I enter information about alumni into the database. At the marketing department design and help update the college’s website. The third job I have while at school is that of a Resident Assistant. This has been a truely awesome job, and my favorite of my jobs. I have met a lot of great people (staff and students) through it. I have a fourth job (yes I’m crazy!) at school, and that is of an Information Access assistant. I basically teach freshmen how to use the schools email system, networking applications and different microsoft office products.
Socially. I always had a lot of friends, but was never the “popular girl” in High School. I have a lot of guy friends that are like brothers to me. My female friends tend to back-stab me eventually, because I am so loyal and don’t give up on people. I was a member of Marching Band in High School and met many wonderful people that way. In college, I was a member of the Dance Ensemble for a few years, and met many great girls that way.I love to hang out with my friends, but don’t always have time because of my schedule.
