Description
The orchestra is recognised as one of Australia's leading community orchestras and plays a major role in providing audiences in western Sydney with accessible and affordable opportunities to enjoy live performances of a wide range of well-known and new orchestral repertoire.
In addition to performing with its Musical Director and Principal Conductor, Maestro Henryk Pisarek, the orchestra also engages guest conductors and soloists of national and international reputation.
The orchestra is run by a dedicated volunteer board consisting of orchestra and community members committed to the promotion and enjoyment of orchestral music in Sydney's west.
