Families throughout Seattle and the greater Eastside choose Puget Sound Community School (PSCS) for their children because of the school's philosophy of education. The school was founded on the belief that people are compelled to learn intrinsically and will eagerly learn what they are interested in learning when provided a positive environment and support in their self-selected pursuits.
PSCS encompasses respect for all aspects of a person's life - emotional, social, intellectual, interpersonal, moral, spiritual, artistic and physical - in a collaborative and encouraging community of staff, students, parents, and volunteers.
