The Prospector, located on 7th St. and Junipero Avenue and now an icon in Long Beach, is one of the most interesting restaurants you’ll ever go to. Like most everyone who goes there for the first time says, "I know I’ll be back soon. What an interesting place. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere unique." With separate bar and entertainment area the Prospector was founded in 1965. The décor, an 1849 Gold Rush theme, is well-worth the visit itself.
