For years now, I have been helping out with Animal Rescue Centres in Ireland. I have always had a love of animals, but could never find a job working with them. As I have over 8 years of computer experience, I decided that I could tie in my two greatest loves - animals and computers, so here it is - my pet shop for pet supplies and pet products on the internet !
Dolly was a Boxer which I rescued from the pound - I took her home just before she was about to be put to sleep. She was in a terrible state! She had septic eye that she could barely see out of, she had just had a litter of pups and was still milking - no sign of the puppies. The vet believed she had come from a puppy farm and was dumped because she had done her job of giving birth to puppies and because her eye was in such bad condition, she had ear mites and fleas. Unfortunately, she had to have her eye removed because the infection was so bad and there was no eye to save. Luckily after being nursed back to health, she found a wonderful home with another boxer friend !
