Description
In 1862, Major General George B. McClellan, commander of the Union forces, decided would take the Army of the Potomac, sail it south to the peninsula between the York and James Rivers in Virginia, and rapidly march on to Richmond to end the Confederate rebellion. The campaign did not go as planned.
