- In 1997, Charleston area law enforcement officers were introduced to the Charleston Cop Message Board. This online board was managed by an anonymous police officer who was only known as RealCPD. The message board closed after a little more than a year of service. In 2001, RealCPD returned with an improved message board; however, the forum ended in 2004.
