The Last Waltz

Aaron knows this posting is coming, since I gave him a heads up at the beginning of the year, and it is this: The final posting here at OpenPika.org as the site prepares to go dark. After a stint of the better part of two years, and with the formal launch of Pika at Legal Services of Northern California to be completed in all our core offices by the end of July, it is time to redirect my energies. I may "re-purpose" the site this Fall or later, depending where we find ourselves with further Pika development and Aaron's coming iterations. Among other things, I need to shift my attention to one of the deep promises of the Pika platform: A centralized database that enables vastly more facile, real-time data analysis. My attention will soon quickly shift over to other technology initatives here, which include a longtime focus on GIS and other analytics informing our advocacy and management work.
