Old Shaw Farm is a certified organic vegetable farm in South Peacham, Vermont. We provide fresh, good tasting, organic produce, at an honest value, for the local community. Our agricultural methods contribute to a safe environment, a sustainable food system, and a diverse regional economy.
We currently market our organic vegetables, cut flowers, and culinary herbs at local farmer's markets, at a farmstand on our property, and to several wholesale accounts. We have about 5 acres in active production, with 2 greenhouses, and with room on our property to expand significantly.
My name is Peter Griffin, and my co-conspirator and partner in this project is Maryellen Griffin. Our daughter, Waverly, was born September 14, 2003, and the newest member of the farm crew is Henry Seamus Griffin, born November 23, 2005.
