Description
To honor and preserve the historic background of the Ohio FFA over the past 75 years, we have complied countless interviews with individuals who have played an important role in the development of the FFA in Ohio. Interviews with individuals from Ralph Howard, who served as the first executive
secretary for the Ohio FFA Association, to Hobart Sockman, a member of the first elected state officer team who was in attendance at the meeting of the founding of the Ohio FFA Association in 1929. Also on this DVD are individuals such as Warren Weiler, Ralph Bender, D.R. Purkey, Earl Kantner, Darrell Parks, and Bryl Shoemaker.
This DVD has been divided into 11 different chapters that highlighting significant aspects of Ohio's agricultural education program and the FFA. Leading the development of this project is Marlene von Stein who served as the 75th president of the Ohio FFA Association and presided over the 75th Ohio FFA Convention. Marlene has numerous hours chronicling the history of the Ohio FFA Association in an effort to capture the significant events of the Ohio FFA for this project. Not only has Marlene served as leader of this project, but also she will be serving as one of the hosts on the DVD.
