Michael Morgan is currently in his sixteenth year as Music Director of Oakland East Bay Symphony. He annually makes about 100 appearances in the nation's schools, particularly in the East Bay.
Bryan Nies has been the Assistant Conductor of the Oakland East Bay Symphony since 2002. As one of the conducting class' youngest graduates, Mr. Nies received a M.M. in Orchestral Conducting from the Peabody Conservatory.
Oakland East Bay Symphony (OEBS) was founded in July 1988, when musicians from the former Oakland Symphony and the Oakland Symphony League joined together to form a new orchestra.
