The Organization of Christians with Internet Home Pages is an online organization that was founded in December, 1995 and first went online February, 1996. The concept was based on a now defunct site called The Net Athiests, which was a site that I stumbled upon while searching the web. Exploring how that site worked, and the message they were spreading, I decided to use some of their ideas and form a site that could be used to glorify God and put a positive light out onto the internet.
The ultimate goal of this organization is to link together every site on the internet that has christian themes or is maintained by christians. While this may be an impossible goal, as long as we keep this goal in mind it could, some day, become a reality.
This organization is also a place where people with differing views are allowed to link their pages together in order to spark some discussion. This organization does not to discriminate on the basis of denominational affiliation, nor does this site discriminate based on religious beliefs.
