- Maybe it was the influence from those early visits to Coney Island, Rockaways Playland, the amusement parks and boardwalk arcades, regardless it's been over 29 years that I have been in the pinball and arcade business. In the beginning my father got me involved when he ventured into operating a game route. That evolved into doing service work for a few route operators and arcades. I even tried full line vending which included snack machines, soda, candy etc. After that I operated my own game route for a while but pinball was always what interested me most.
