Whether its negotiating an agreement between the White House and Congress for the first Balanced Budget in 30 years, serving as Chairman of the House Budget Committee, or leading the effort to end unnecessary government programs, John Kasich believes in leaving a better America to the next generation.
This has been John's motivation throughout his work as a public servant. First as an Ohio State Senator and later as Congressman from Ohio's 12th Congressional District. John has always thought that we can each make a difference to make America better. He believes that the greatest challenge we face as a nation lies not in legislating solutions to our problems, but in changing hearts and being part of a team to raise standards in America and raise the bar.
