YNDK P/L Australia's mission is to provide creative, innovative solutions that meet the personal tooth care needs of all food consumers. Far more than developing innovative, convenient and easy to use tooth care products with venture partners, YNDK provides Supertooth School Dental Health/Science education for schools and long-term solutions to current failures in pesonal tooth care like the fact that almost all cavities occur between teeth and inside grooves where the toothbrush cannot reach food that is trapped after every meal or snack.
Supertooth focuses on developing skills to prevent food being trapped the promotion and dissemination of key oral health promotion messages, targeting priority groups within the community. “Promoting Oral Health 2000-2004: Strategic Directions and Framework for Action” (Department Human Services 1999), provides our framework.
This is a significant governmental policy and direction document, the implementation of which places DHSV Health Promotion in an important and central role, which Supertooth can help expand with simple experiments and teaching aids that develop tooth care skills that help remove food that is always left trapped between teeth and inside grooves where almost all cavities occur.
