Founded almost 150 years ago, North American Baptist Seminary emphasizes a Bible-focused curriculum combined with spiritual formation and hands-on ministry experiences.

Throughout its history, NABS has worked to place students in churches or other places of ministry where they are able to preach, teach, and lead worship or see clients through the seminary's Marriage and Family Therapy Clinic, which enhances classroom instruction. Now NABS is taking that philosophy of Contextual Learning even further. Classes can be taken off-campus through online courses, independent studies, audio/video courses, and other flexible options. In addition, students seeking a distance education program can now take advantage of our In Ministry programs which allow up to half of the credits to be taken off campus and the remainder through a cycle of intensives.
