- Ms. Patel founded MomsSpace.com after becoming a mother of two boys, Shaan (5) and Samay (2), and a house full of baby and child items that she thought would be more beneficial to another mom. In March 2006 the site was launched with the concept of “helping” other moms by connecting with each other through MomsSpace.com. Her passion to make MomsSpace.com a household name is the driving force that enables her to work between school pick up and drop offs, piano lessons, and PTA meetings. Ms. Patel has prior experience in product development, marketing and communications, and public relations. She has a Bachelor’s in Accounting and a Master’s of Business Administration in management from St. Edward’s University in Austin.
