Our Online Novel -

Longtime readers of this website may have given up in their desire to see the content of this website change. We know who you are - still checking back to see if that novel has gotten off the ground, or at least on to the page. Some things never change - or so it would seem. The reality may be that the unchanged energies in our lives await proper alignment within us, so then to allow the manifestation of change in that selfsame realm of the unchanged. We are not quite ready yet, in 2008, yet over time, this website will develop as an online novel, written and edited in real-time. On our Book page, you will find our novel, which takes place over a wide span of time in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Southern Nevada and Southern California.

Additional Information

Author and consultant Jim McGillis was born in Los Angeles, California, raised in nearby Burbank and graduated from UCLA. During the course of his career, Jim worked in retailing, aerospace, systems sales, executive recruiting and more recently as an author and consultant. Jim's first published book, titled WindSong, in honor of his 1970 classic Ericson 35 sailboat, is available as an eBook, online at JamesMcGillis.com. Jim's second book, The Self-Directed Job Search is available as an eBook at Meditsearch.com.

During the course of his travels, Jim found great affinity for the Southwestern United States and has published several online articles on that subject at JamesMcGillis.com. Since the non-fiction genre can be limiting, Jim decided to publish his (and the world's) first interactive online novel about the Southwest, including the nearly forgotten Spanish Trail, from Santa Fe, New Mexico to Los Angeles, California.
