Mister Bud Sculptured Copper Water Fountains
Description
Metal sculpting is one of my hobbies. I spend hours with an oxy-acetylene torch and brazing rods, building and creating, molten drop by molten drop. Hammering and forming copper, brass and bronze is restful for me. The concentration needed for this sculpture has a way of blotting everything else out of my mind.
About forty years ago I started working with a torch and metals. I do mostly water fountains now. These sculptures range from twelve inches to four feet in height. They are created for use inside on a table, a windowsill, or the floor, or outside on the patio or in the garden.
My sculpture is handcrafted; therefore each piece is unique. Some works have only a small variation but the effect of hand creation is always present. No cast forms or fillers are used.
