MG Consulting is owned and operated by Manuel Garcia, who has been employed in the accounting field since 1988. Past accounting-related positions held include: Controller, Accounting Manager, Senior Auditor, Accountant, Accounting Technician, Senior Accounting Assistant, and Accounting Assistant.
Manuel has worked as an independent contractor in the area of investigative accounting since 1999. He earned a specialized degree in Business Administration from Skadron College and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University.
In 1999, Manuel worked under contract with the Office of the Public Guardian & Public Conservator of the County of Riverside. He directed the forensic audits of 41 conservatorship cases that were assigned to the Public Guardian after the former private conservators were removed by the Court. The Public Guardian successfully recovered more than $1.2 million dollars in restitution to the victims. The principal private conservator, Bonnie Cambalik, was prosecuted and sentenced to 26 years. Conservator’s attorney, Michael Molloy, was sentenced to 16 years and four months in prison.
