- My name is Annette Kerr and I am the wife of one of the brave heroes, Michael Kerr. My family and the families of Alex McIlveen and Stephen Clarkson would like to see the actions of our loved ones recognised in line with those of John Smeaton. We believe that our men are every bit as brave as John, and we want them to be formally recognised by the Queen and Government in the same manner as him.
