Richard Mayer
Description
Richard Mayer studied photography at the Academy of Art College, and has shared his expertise with colleagues, as well as teaching seminars on Wedding and Event Photography, and lecturing at the Palace Hotel. He is a longtime member of Wedding and Portrait Photographers International and believes in continuing education in order to stay abreast Of innovations in technique and equipment.
His portfolio of jazz portraiture includes such greats as Benny Goodman, Dizzy Gillespie, Miles Davis and Ella. He has worked for the San Francisco Jazz Festival, and has recently shown his work at the Jazz in the Meadow event in Atherton, CA.
Richard is a member of the San Carlos Chamber Of Commerce, and serves on the board of directors Of the National Association of Catering Executives.
