Description
Laura used to suffer from chronic pain due to a variety of sports and stress related injuries. Her condition lead to years of searching for relief. Laura's father is a Radiologist and she grew up learning solely about modern treatment. When she experienced her first chronic injury, in her knee, she went to Orthopedists and physical therapy. The results were only short term, but after 2 1/2 years of frustration she finally tried acupuncture and learned self massage. Four short months later she was pain free. When she experienced new injuries, she returned to alternative medicine for help and used her own skills to heal herself. Her journey was long, but ultimately, she realized that her true calling is to heal people and animals.
The focus of Laura's practice is to help people who suffer from chronic pain, injuries, illness or stress. She has discovered that massage and reiki are an excellent combination for treating these conditions and she has had great success in healing her clients.
Before she changed careers, Laura was a graphic designer. She has a BA in Psychology from UC Irvine and she attended art school at UCLA. Laura received her massage therapy certification from California Healing Arts and she has completed all three degrees of Reiki certification.
